In this art installation, we aim to evoke the feeling of being an angel. Imagine what it feels like to have a halo around your head, even if you believe you do not deserve to be an angel. Over 30,000 fibre optic strands are suspended from the ceiling, each specifically designed to resemble a halo. As the audience walks past them, a circular ring appears over their head, symbolizing the inherent goodness within each human being.
Photos can be taken, capturing the image of everyone as angels walking through the installation. However, once the audience moves beyond the boundary of the fibre optics, the halo disappears, conveying the message that we are not constantly angels, as we are often plagued by unholy thoughts in our daily lives.
